This place is very clean and well maintained. Eugene is small, so even being outside of "Downtown", you're really only 1 or 2 miles from the main hub of the city. The hostel was pretty quiet while I was there, probably because it was winter. I spent time with people I met outside the hostel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there- place has a very homey ,relaxed atmosphere which encourages travelors to talk and share, or just read and be alone. Very clean, accessible- great job!

DON'T STAY HERE!!! We made reservations for a two person mixed dorm, the reservation was lost and so they tried to put us in a 3 person dorm that already had two people in it. The manager wasn't available and there was no attempt made to give us what we had reserved.
