A BRILLIANT hostel!! Dan the owner was the perfect host, even meeting us at the train station. The hostel/apartments had a stunning panoramic view across the harbour. The town & bus stop are a short 3 minute walk away. Dan the man was just great, nothing is too much trouble for him, he can organise day trips, tell you where the best nightlife, beaches, or anything is and he is a great guy to grab a beer with! We just had an excellent trip here! Super, superb, amazing. Really really recommended!

all very good (especially the price!) - view from the apartment is stunning, bathroom is spacious and the staff very well-informed. The apartment has a great balcony and is well-stocked with books, dvds and kitchen utensils the only negative is that it's a fifteen minute walk from the flat to the bus stop and in order to get to Sevastopol, it is necessary to take two buses... not a great place to base yourself if you intend to explore the rest if Crimea.

Very friendly and very clean hostel, everything was very bright and colorful and smelt fresh There's so much to see in Sevastopol/Balaclava AND MY GOOD WHAT A PARTY CITY. Yes I will highly recommend this hostel to any backpacker and the tours they offer are fantastic the tour to the Soviet nuclear Sub. Base was out of this world just for that its worth coming to this place.

The location was great - good hiking, close to restaurants and easy to get to Sevastopol. Dan, the manager, was personable and professional and spoke english well. He was very knowledgeable about the area and helped us get our bearings so we could explore both cities on our own. We were originally going to stay for 4 but added on an extra night. Thanks for a memorable trip!
2 words to describe this hostel: !!!!!Amazing! Fantastic!!!! Do yourselves a favor and go to Sevastopol/Balaclava and stay at this apartment/hostel . I had one of the best times of my life here! A 100% rating for this place is far too low. With out a doubt the best place I have stayed in Europe (and that says a lottttt!!! I think). The best aspect of the place is the staff. They will go far out of their way, giving you great advice about day tours and excursions to Yalta and other things like swimming with dolphins. (look it up at hostelukrein.com ) The Soviet Submarine Base Tour That I was on was the best tour ever. Thank you all and thanks you DAN (THE MAN) for all of your help.
