Bluehostel is the ideal solution for couples! Amazingly located in Santa Maria Maggiore, right in the city centre and few steps to the Coliseum, Bluehostel offers lovely double rooms with ensuite bathroom and shower, and private apartments. Free maps, linen and towels. English speaking staff!
Be careful when booking! Double private = Private double room ensuite 4 Bed Private =Private apartment (2 double rooms ensuite) Twin private = Private apartment at Coliseum (double Bed) No curfew, no lockout. Free towels, linen, blankets, maps, teas and coffees! English speaking staff!

I stayed in one of the private apartments, and it was excellent. Spacious, air conditioned, extremely clean. It even had satellite TV. I highly recommend Blue Hostel's private appartments in Rome.

I stayed in the apartment which was in a fantastic location. Met by the charming Ercole who recommended a number of restaurants (of which we tried) and the best ice cream I have ever had (Giolitti). The facilities in the apartment were great (washing machine, airconditioning) and it was a short walk to either of the metro lines.
