Much better then most hostels in Edinburgh. Not in my top 5 but would still go back when in Scotland.

Food was good, the pub is nice, the view is breath taking. I liked the card system to pay for stuff. The location isn't the greatest, but they have a shuttle to get you into town. Had a good time at Globetrooter Inn Edinburgh. Would recommend!

The hostel is located next to the North See and the views are amazing. If you get there by car there is no problem to find it, moreover the shuttle bus from the hostel is very affordable and reliable, it's just £1.5. Breaksfast was very complete and good. Staff was very helpful and nice and we had fun in the bar till late at night.I strongly recommend it for a nice weekend in Edinburgh.

The good things about this hostel were that you have a privacy curtain and a personal light inside your bunk, it is clean and you are provided with an in-room locking safe. It is located right on the water and there is a great view from the back lawn but it is 15-20 minutes into the city center. This wasn't a huge inconvenience for me though.
i loved the curtain for the bed! :-D
