The hostle is situated in a wonderful location 20 minutes from lake Tahoe and man ski resorts. Along with a very friendly staff. Also you can rent ski or snow shoes from the hostel located convenienty to go cross country skiing. The living room is magnificent with a knoty oak wood venire and the fire is kept going the entire day and night. The downfall was the grotesque smell in the mens bathrooM. In addition the heat was turned off at night and the rooms were freezing. No blankets or sheets are provided as you are expected to bring a sleeping bag. Many of the other guests were often somewhat wierd people.
