The Barn in Abel Tasman National Park, New Zealand

The Barn Backpackers and Campground is a converted tobacco drying shed in a beautiful garden setting. We are 100 metres from the start of the Abel Tasman track in Marahau and the property has spectacular views of Tasman Bay and Marlborough Sounds.

We can offer a range of accommodation from camping to private rooms and cabins. We have 2 communal kitchens with BBQ facilities. A large outdoor deck with pool table and outdoor fireplace and a cosy lounge area with an inviting log fire.

The Barn is the ideal base for your Abel Tasman adventures and is the perfect place to unwind.



Our cabins are unheated. In the colder months we supply additional blankets to help keep you snug in your bed.
