Cairngorm Lodge Youth Hostel is situated in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, 7 miles from Aviemore and just 2 miles from the Cairngorm mountain railway and snowsports area. Our 3 star hostel is an old Scottish shooting lodge and offers warm, comfortable accommodation and stunning views of the Northern Cairngorms. It's an ideal base for all outdoor activities including hillwalking, climbing, snowsports, mountain biking, pony trekking, watersports and fishing. The Loch Morlich Watersports Centre and a large beach are opposite the hostel.
Check-in is between 5pm and 10.30pm and check-out by 10am.
The hostel is closed for cleaning daily between 10am - 1.30pm.
Breakfast, packed lunch & dinners are available daily!
Breakfast, packed lunch & dinners are available daily. We are a licensed hostel and sell a selection of locally brewed beers from the Cairngorm Brewery as well as cider & wine.

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in! Spotless, warm and welcoming with a STUNNING view of the Cairngorms. It's right by Loch Morlich, my favourite place in the Highlands and there are numerous walks from the hostel. Very nice people at the reception. I used the self- catering facilities during my stay but I hear the cook is brilliant so next time I'll definitely try his food. I honestly can't wait to be back! Wonderful place because of the location, great place to spend weekend of if u re traveling across Scotland. Wonderful terrace with a mountain\'s view, great walking. Parking available, clean room. In the mid of June I was alone in the dormitory. Tatiana, from Russia ~ 5th Jul 2012
