This is a true hill-walker’s paradise. The Twelve Bens stretch across our front lawn, looking out over the rugged bays and white-sand beaches of the Atlantic. Beyond the Mweelrea Mountains that guard the entrance to Killary Harbour lies the distant peak of Croagh Patrick in Co. Mayo.
Only 10 minutes north of Clifden Town, 5 minutes from the Connemara National Park, and 15 minutes west of Kylemore Abbey, Ben Breen House rests in the heart of some of the most breath-taking scenery in West Connemara, perhaps even in all Ireland.
We offer 6 very clean and modern en-suite bedrooms (half with bathtubs), delicious full Irish (or lighter) breakfasts, and can provide an early breakfast or a packed lunch if you wish.
Our sitting room with its stunning mountain views and open fireplace is the perfect place to curl up with a book or settle in for a chat. There’s also a large garden that is ideal for children to play in.
