Small and cozy Horse Farm located in Colonia state countryside. We are located 50 minutes Bus from Colonia on the way to Montevideo. Bus frequency is excellent as well as inexpensive and comfortable.
Criollo horses, fireplace, sauna, books, fondue and good wine, bikes, solar energy, peace and tranquility .
Heating in all bedrooms and common areas.
No TV nor Wi Fi for your soul welfare.
We speak , English, French, some German and Spanish.
Traveling is in our souls!

From Colonia By Bus:
From Buenos Aires
Take Buquebus or Colonia Express to Colonia del Sacramento. Both companies offer bus ticket from Colonia's Port to Montevideo . Once in Colonia indicate the bus conductor you are getting of at Km. 114,5 Ruta 1 (Entrance Balneario Santa Regina). This option costs aprox. USD 7, but it is the most direct and easiest option. Please note that you should get this bus ticket in Buenos Aires since it is not possible to get it once you arrive at Colonia.
Other cheaper options:
Just outside Colonia Port you will find a Bus terminal. Take Turil or Cot bus to Km 114,5 Ruta 1 (Entrance Balneario Santa Regina). It takes 50-minutes. When you have your ticket please call or send a sms with the time you are living and we will pick you up at the bus Stop to take you to El Galope free of charge.
From Montevideo By Bus:
From Tres Cruces Bus terminal take TURIL bus to Km 114,5 Ruta 1 (Entrance Balneario Santa Regina) When you have your ticket please call or send a sms with the time you are living and we will pick you up at the bus Stop to take you to El Galope free of charge.

Lovely people. Beautiful location. Not spectacular country, but cut to human measure. Extremely relaxing. Friendly area. The night sky. Undoubtedly worth staying a few nights. Stanley, from England ~ 9th Feb 2013

Really good hostel if one needs a rest, love the countryside or love riding horses. Be careful: - Riding horse is possible for minimum two - Better to pay with creditcard at the end of the stay(though not all creditcards are accepted) or Uruguayan pesos.
