The 4T's tarven is an ideal place for all budget travellers who wants to save on accomodation and spend on excursions and other related activities ,
We are extremely cheap and charge in Tanzanian shillings, we have a small kitchen where guest can cook their own meals, even allowing 10 people to stay on our (3 beds house ) which has 3 main bedrooms for a price of 1 !!!
arrange your big groups such as missionaries, students, researchers who are keen to share a full house for only 100,000 per day for all !!!!

Travellers should note that the Tarven is approximately 20km from the main dar es salaam city but it is well stocked and quite accessible and there are several routes to access it from the airport. The Tarevn owners have a doublecabin tarven pickup that shuttles guests to the main Ubungo stand and back daily.

We (a group of 9 persons) enjoyed our stay there (only one night)very much. We surely will come back whenever we need a nice, clean and not expensive hostel. The location is a very nice guesthouse with absolut comfortable and clean rooms. Its only a little far away from the city... and a bit remote from the highway, but good, if you want to go into the direction of Morogoro. Owner Vicky was very helpful by e-mail. Brand new guesthouse with bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Everything was clean and there was a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us, as it was Christmas. However, there was no member of staff actually at the guesthouse - we arrived late/left early so felt a bit abandoned and had no idea how to pay. Also, guesthouse is isolated and a long way from city/ferry and taxi is expensive, so wouldn't recommend location unless want to be near bus Joanna, from England ~ 15th Jan 2013
