Glencoe Youth Hostel is ideally located away from the main A82 in the quiet countryside of Glencoe, surrounded by fields and trees with stunning view of the hills. The youth hostel is popular with walkers, climbers and families as it offers budget multi-share accommodation but also private family friendly rooms too. Glencoe Youth Hostel has a large open plan kitchen/ dining room with ample cooking facilities and dining tables. According to one of our customers, Glencoe Youth Hostel has one of the best drying rooms in the Scottish Highlands!
Glencoe Youth Hostel offers everything that a hosteller can wish for: great showers, comfy beds, a stunning location and most important of all dedicated staff, for whom customers come as strangers but leave as friends. Glencoe Youth Hostel is perfect if you are attempting a historic walk up the Lost Valley or tackling Britain's finest ridge walk, the Aonach Eagach (which ends at the youth hostel). Glencoe Youth Hostel is also only a 10 min walk or stumble from the infamous Clachaig Inn.
Dogs are now welcome at Glencoe when guests book a private room. A small fee of five pounds per dog per night will be charged. Please note that all dogs must be booked in advance to ensure that a dog friendly room is allocated.

From Glasgow & Fort William, get off at Glencoe Crosscroads. Cross A82 across car park. Turn right into Glencoe Village and walk through passed the Spar Supermarket. Walk over the bridge and follow the road down for about 1 mile.
Nearest rail station Fort William (17 miles). Follow bus directions above.
On the A82, turn right at the Glencoe Hotel and quickly right again towards Glencoe village. Continue through village along single track road for 2 miles. Road unsuitable for large buses.
Turn right into Glencoe Village and walk through passed the Spar Supermarket. Walk over the bridge and follow the road down for about 1 mile.
