Hangzhou YMCA International Youth Hostel opened in this April, It is located inside an old Church which has been designated a National Heritage building. The hostel is situated amongst the bustling commercial center of Hangzhou, Hangzhou is a very green and scenic city and we are surrounded by trees.
YMCA Youth Hostel is a 6-minute drive from Qinghefang Pedestrian Street and a 5-minute drive from Nansongyu Street. Wulin Square is a 7-minute drive away and and adjoined the famous hot tour site west lake, Hangzhou.With such easy access, the hostel allows the guests to enjoy the live city could offer.
The interior of the hostel is newly renovated to give YMCA Hangzhou a high standard within the Youth Hostel community of China.The rooms are luxurious, spacious, bright and adhere to the old heritage style of the building.

First I was looking for a hostel near by the lake but could not find any available as I went there during a peak period. Did not see any reviews for this YMCA but after I look at all the pictures I decided to book this hostel.. And Yes !!! It was one of the nest hostel I've ever been. Shared bathroom are so clean, super helpful staff, the dorm are modern/clean/safe the only thing is just it's not beside the lake (5mins walk) nothing more to say but you should consider this choice :) Thassha, from Thailand ~ 3rd Jun 2013
