Garden Inn in Lijiang, China

Garden Inn is a warm and down-to-earth place for travellers. If you are looking for a quiet yet relaxing place, you have found it, as long as you accept that the Garden Inn is a small guesthouse and not a big hotel.

During your stay, our courtyard provides fantastic open or shaded areas for you to enjoy the sun and fresh mountain air of Lijiang. Our balcony area has amazing views of the mountains, valley & old town.

You are welcome to use our cozy common room with comfy sofas, a billiard/pool table and TV/DVD. You can also enjoy some wine, beer and music in the bar. Of course, you could show your talent and have some fun on our guitar...

Garden Inn is located in the old town of Lijiang. If you prefer not to walk, a taxi can drop you off in front of our hostel. If needed, we can provide a pickup service from the airport for 100 RMB.

All the private rooms have electric blankets. Also we can provide an electric heater for a small charge if required.

During peak season If you are likely to arrive after 6pm, please call or text earlier in the day to confirm your booking. If we do not receive such confirmation we may have to give rooms out to walk-in customers.

Walking
If you are at the Waterwheel (near the KFC, on the edge of the old & new town), you should walk south along the water channel towards Sifang Square (signposted).


From Sifang Square, you should walk east along Wuyi Street (away from the small hill) for a few minutes, until 50m after you pass all the shops. Wuyi Street then turns into Wenming Lane.

From the bus station you can take a taxi to drop you next to the hostel for around 10 yuan.

From the train station you can take No.13 bus and get off at Laodiqu Yiyuan,then turn right to old town. At the first crossing turn left ,you will find us just along the street on the left side.
