Welcome to Central Hostel
We have a safe, clean and CHEAP hostel right in the centre of London.
All Old London Town has to offer is within walking distance from us.
Central Hostel is 5 minutes' walk from Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, Notting Hill and Portobello Markets.
Any DA VINCI CODE enthusiasts' we are 3 minutes walk from OPUS DEI their London Headquarters. '1 minute if your being chased by Sirus'
We are in Zone 1. All London attractions are in this zone. Makes travel by bus and train in London as cheap as you can get it.
Our Dorm rooms are 6-8 people. Quad rooms(4 person) and twin rooms also available.
OUR FACILITIES- 24 hr Reception, Cooking Facilities, Internet, TV and DVDs, Safe Deposit Boxes, Laundry, Smokers' room, all bedding supplied, No CURFEW, No LOCK OUT.
- Free tea, coffee all day.
- Free luggage storage while you stay.
-Free Transport from Victoria Coach Station between 0800-2000 Mon to Sat (subject to availability)
-Free use of our DVD collection. (After a long day seeing all of London's attractions it's nice to sit down and watch a movie of your choice.)
We have a great reception area full of people like yourselves. You might make a friend, or share some of your travelling experiences. It's your trip, it's what you make it. We like to party here. We provide the base you provide the madness.
ATTENTION TO ALL GUEST: Running a smaller business is difficult enough at the best of times, but the current trading conditions �
a result of the so-called �credit crunch� � are testing even the most experienced owners and managers.
For many business people, this will be our first experience of trading in difficult times, but even those of you who were around in the eighties and early nineties should make time to take a critical look at your business and consider what action you need to take now to ensure your business makes it through.
Therefore Central Hostel will be ending is free Continental Breakfast from the 19th of January 2009 to further notice.
Tea and coffee will be free all day!

We regret to inform you that we have ended our free continental breakfast since 2009 as a result of the current economic situation until further notice. As a smaller business it is difficult to run as normal in such tough times and we must do anything to make sure we'll get through it.
Please note that in order to check-in we will ask you for a photo ID.
Please note that the 90% remaining to pay for your
accommodation has to be paid by cash on arrival.

This place is bad.Simply put.All around terrible place to stay.I'm 99 percent sure they don't change the sheets in between guests.The towels were musty and the bathrooms looked and smelled as if they'd never been cleaned before.Light in bathroom was burnt out for the 2 days we stayed and no one even bothered to change it.They use an ancient system for booking.Asked for confirmation of my res. 2 days before arrival.They confirmed back 2 days after my check out date. I think your hostel is a shame ! The window in our bedroom was broken so it was freezing cold! The heater wasn't working eathier! The bathrooms weren't clean at all ! The matrice was too big for the structure of the bed wish is really dangerous and there was nothing to help to go on the bed above. And everyone was still making crazy noise at 3am !
