Welcome to H�tel du Simplon, a 2 star hotel with character and charm located in 'presqu�le', the 'peninsula' between the rivers Rh�ne and Sa�ne.
Our hotel is near the main train station of Perrache and the greenery of the place Carnot. Our hotel has 37 rooms with reasonable prices.
Although this part of the city is primarily residential, three commercial streets run through it, leading to the place Bellecour, the largest square in the city : rue Victor Hugo, rue Auguste Comte and rue de la Charit� whose galleries and shops are heaven for antiques and art lovers.

The staff at Le Simplon were awesome!!! I accidentally booked the wrong nights at the hotel, and they were booked but managed to find ONE extra room for me somehow when I arrived. I really appreciated it. On the other hand, if you are looking for a \"hostel\" environment, this is not it. They charge for breakfast, and almost impossible to meet people (It\'s a hotel) Max, from USA ~ 9th Oct 2012
