There’s no better way to visit Madrid than with a stay at Living Cat’s Hostel! Our guests agree that our central location, comfortable beds, and vibrant party atmosphere will leave you wanting more!
Just outside the Puerta del Sol, the center point of Madrid, you can easily and quickly make it to the city’s most famous sites, like the lively Santa Ana plaza, world-famous Prado museum, and refreshing Retiro Park. But don’t worry – we make it easy to fit in that siesta in our Andalucían style common area, beautiful evidence that Cat’s was at one time a 17th century Spanish palace.
As the sun goes down, the madrileños come out! When you start your night at Cat’s Cave Bar, it is sure to be a blast! Every night of the week we will take you on the best pub crawls, where you will meet your fellow travelers and truly experience the Madrid lifestyle. During the week we also offer you tapas and shopping tours, and free Flamenco and Salsa dance classes. Wondering what our favorite is? The paella party every Saturday night! You can’t miss this deal: a free dish of paella with every drink you order!
And of course we’ve got the basics. Our newly renovated rooms range from 4 to 14 beds, each with clean sheets and secure lockers for each guest. Breakfast is included in the price and you can choose from a variety of cereals and pastries every morning. Free wifi is available in the common areas and there are also available computers for guest use.
And on departure day, we have secure luggage storage where bags can be left while you get your last tastes of the city!
If there is anything you ever need during your stay our reception is available 24 hours. We’re always happy to help you see the best of Madrid.

Contact us by mail to keep your reservation. Please notice that we have a 24 hours cancellation policy and it is possible to Cancel only by email, otherwise we must charge the full amount of the first night.
A 10€ deposit is payable in cash upon arrival.
Bookings of 10 people or more are considered group ones and must be made through the group reservation department. We do not accept bookings of over 10 people. We reserve the right to cancel such reservation without refund.

My sisters backpack was stolen from the breakfast room from right in front of her seat as she was grabbing some coffee. Otherwise the experience was quite pleasant and the building was beautiful. They had a great free walking tour and gave us discounts to a fabulous flamenco show. The staff was as helpful as possible, but i wont stay here again. Michelle, from USA ~ 5th May 2013
