Located in Ban Lac Village, an ethnic Thai village
Consists of 4 deluxe river view bungalows and 4 standard garden bungalows. All are inspired by a traditional ethnic Thai stilt-house, built in 1966. The eco-friendly bungalows are on 2000 square meters of land with vegetable gardens, a fish pond and a living museum showcasing the traditional local daily life.
At Mai Chau Nature Place, guests are welcomed and served as members of the family. Guests will live in the same way that people lived centuries ago. Communal life helps guest better understand the local customs from the past and help preserve the Thai traditions.The bungalows were built with local materials that are very friendly to the environment, such as wood, bamboo and palm leaves. Each bungalow has been designed for simplicity but also for coziness and has a spacious private balcony for relaxing or sipping tea, which is prepared for you. From here you can also enjoy the peaceful scenic countryside, green fields, gentle streams and animals grazing. Mai Chau Nature Place is the perfect place for escaping noisy, dirty, busy city life.
We are living in the culture village so please keep your voice down after 11:00pm. Go to bed ealy is a good idea cause you might get up earlier than your plan by the chickens or the local people get up early to do their work.
We are a traditional homestay in 38 Ban Lac Village, a few steps from the first guesthouse after you get into the village. With a big communal room where everybody can sleep on the bamboo floor on the second floor. The beds and mosquito net will be prepaired by the family. the other 3 private rooms are available with 1 double bed and bamboo furnitures.
The western toilet and hot rain shower bathrooms are not in the rooms. you have to step down to the first floor. The first floor is where you can chill-out in the yard you eat your meal. the wifi is the only on in Mai Chau. Every guests are welcomed to cook the dinner with us in the kitchen.
