Welcome to Central Palma Youth Hostel!
Central Palma is located in the heart of Palma, in Plaza Square, No. 2, next to City Hall. In a former convent of the Franciscan Sisters of Mercy. Convent which once was also a school of children.
The building has undergone a major reform knowing maintain the original structure and style. It has given the building the necessary infrastructure to carry out in the activity of Youth Hostel.
In the same square is the Barcel� Can modernist building, clad in polychrome ceramics, a must for any tourist who wants to know our beautiful city of Palma.

Great location right in the center of Palma. Friendly staff in general, although you need to understand some Spanish to get along and the 24h-reception does not work quite so well sometimes. We didn´t have any problems changing our reservation via phone. Facilities were ok, but 25€ per night is too expensive for what they offer (for example the key card for the room did not work 3 times in a row and you just get one key per group). The add lied when it said the max people per room was 8, when my room had 5 extra people radiating body heat in a room with a broken air conditioner. The security is ridiculously poor, anyone who wasn\'t staying in my room could have easily gone in to the room and done what ever. The bathroom trashes were always over flowing to the ground, the one of only 3 showers had a clogged drain all four nights I stayed. Nathon, from USA ~ 26th Jul 2012
