The Cosmopolitan Hostel is a charming refuge located in Boa Viagem, one of the most beautiful and well-known areas of Recife. Close to the beach as well as the most popular bars, restaurants, and nightclubs of the city, the Cosmopolitan offers all Recife has to give. The Cosmopolitan's proximity to two supermarkets and two main avenues with many bus stops make it the most ideal and convenient choice for visitors.
We offer mixed dorm rooms, female dorm rooms, and private suites. A guest kitchen and board game area was designed to bring people like you from all over the world together. Otherwise, mingle in our lounge which features a large, custom-built sofa and cable TV. You'll also have breakfast and wifi free of charge.
Our front yard features a garden and our backyard boasts a huge mango tree as well as other Brazilian fruit trees. Hanging through out are hammocks for you to laze in the tropical heat.
Cosmopolitan is 15 minutes away from Recife Airport, 8 minutes from Recife's historic center, and 15 minutes from the gorgeous city of Olinda, which was declared a Historical and Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO in 1982.

We are also available to provide tours to different beaches and tourist destinations. The companies will come here in the morning to pick you up and come back in the end of the day. The options are: City-tour Recife and Olinda, Porto de Galinhas, Carneiros, Ilha da Coroa do Aviao and Maragogi.
Cosmopolitan was built to be environmentally conscious. Part of the furniture was made from reclaimed wood, the front wall made of pallets, and we make sure to recycle and compost our refuse properly.
You also may be contacted by the property requesting the CVV code of the credit card used for this booking or asked for a deposit.
Please note that if you have to cancel your booking, you must do it at least 48 hours before arrival or lose your deposit.
To guarantee your reservation for Carnival we will need a bank deposit or in chase you are out of Brazil we require your credit card number, expiration date and security code. In case of no-show or early check out, the amount will not be refunded.

Fiquei no hostel somente por uma noite. A equipe é muito prestativa e a Ãrica ajudou com tudo que precisei. O hostel é simples e aconchegante. O café-da-manhã é ótimo. Só não gostei muito das gavetas embaixo das camas. Algumas eram difÃceis de abrir, uma estava faltando e a outra não podia ser aberta por causa do posicionamento das camas. Fora isso recomendo o hostel para todos que não estão procurando por luxo, mas sim acomodações simples porém aconchegantes. Eu me hospedaria là Edimilson, from Brazil ~ 2nd May 2013

The hostel is well located and is close to Boa Viagem beach (three blocks away), bus stops, super markets and restaurants. You can rent a bicycle at the hostel and go through the whole bicycle path at the beach (around 8 km). My room had a working air conditioner which could be turned on at night. You can visit all the Recife/Olinda attractions by bus and the staff is very helpful on indicating the ones you should pick.
