Looming Hostel is one of the first and onlyest environmentally friendly boutique hostels in Estonia.
'Looming' in Estonian means 'Creation or artwork' - that's why everything is in constant change here.
Looming Hostel offers a new artistic style of accommodation in Tartu - cosy, warm and clean guestrooms are all created by different artists - everything we use for decoration is 99 % reused! We prefer natural materials, small ecological footprint, creativity and fun!
Our guestrooms and large livingroom are located on the attic floor of Young Estonian Creativity Center - where you can see and visit different workshops, concerts, events, fairs and festivals. There is a printing museum downstairs, the building is also a home to a paper museum, wood-workshop, designers, taylors and fashiondesigners.
There is a kitchen for self-catering, with all necessary equipment, free wifi everywhere, free parking, large livingroom with hammocks, sofas, books and games.
Brand new hot showers are now located on the same floor as rooms!

It was really a lucky decision of us to stay at Looming hostel. The hostel itself was very quiet and cosy, the staff was friendly, experienced and ready to help the place was not very far from the city center: normally we reached it in about fifteen minutes, if I'm not mistaken. In addition there was a nice Printing Museum on the ground floor of the same building. Besides the hostel offers a number of free books to read for guests (they're in the sitting-room).
