We are the only Hostel with free WIFI and centrally located at the Lenin's head square. Perfect location gives you just a 5-10 min walk from the transsib train station and less than a minute to the main sights of the city.
From our window you can see a tip of the Lenin's head's nose as our place is just on the Soviet square.
Roomy, cozy flat with a guest kitchen, spacey common room and a hot shower will serve you as the best base for your exploring.
The hostel has 2 rooms for guests, each has 8 dorms (4 double bank beds) all equipped with comfy matrasses, blankets, pillows and bed linen. And 1 big common area room for talking, having fun, playing games etc.
We also arrange bus tickets to Mongolia (11 hour drive), arrange TOURS to lake Baikal and Ulan-Ude (OldBelievers, Buryat village, etc), arrange train tickets through Russia, help you get a mongolian visa and much more.
Denis, the owner, has traveled a lot through TransSib, so he'll be happy to share the experience and to give useful tips.

Basically it's pretty easy to find it, you need to find Soviet square and Lenin's head. Lonely Planet Trans-Mongolian book lists us on the Ulan-Ude map as no.38 'S7 Airlines'.
When you stand in front of Lenin's head looking at it, turn left, look for a 4 storey light yellow building with a big sign 'S7 airlines' on the top. The hostel is on the right side of the building, a black door between 'S7 airlines' and 'Vintage' cloth shop. Press 18 and 'B' on terminal and wait for me or my friend to let you in. We're on the second floor, right door.
From train station: When you get off a train have a look around, you'll see the tallest building in Ulan-Ude with interesting rooftop. Walk a pedestrian bridge over the rails. You'll see crossroads with a statue of a boy with bird in his hand, take left to Borsoeva street (yj.6opcoeBa) and walk along the road until you get a rather big street to the right, Sukh-Bator str. (yj. Cyxe-6aTopa). You'll get Soviet square and Lenin's head to your left in a minute or less.
