The world-famous Matterhorn, lovingly called �Horu� by locals, can be seen directly from Zermatt Youth Hostel. Every day of the year, the Youth Hostel offers a charming alternative for all those guests for whom a luxurious hotel room is not necessary to enjoy the Zermatt mountains.
*Please note that Zermatt Youth Hostel does not have cooking facilities. BED & BREAKFAST is offered as standard, you can pre-book a 4-course meal for CHF 15.50.
Breakfast from 07.00-09.30, dinner from 18.00-19.30*
*Please Note: There is an extra charge for Non-YHA-Members of CHF 6.00 per night, payable on arrival*
Backpackers from all over the world, as well as families, groups and young-at-heart senior citizens receive a very warm welcome in a cosy atmosphere the whole year round. Whether they choose the inexpensive variant in a dormitory or a double room with a separate shower and WC, dinner and breakfast in the dining room with a view of the Matterhorn are always included in the price.
Once you arrive in Zermatt, it�s not far to the Youth Hostel. It is located between the town centre and the station of Klein Matterhorn Railways. It is a 15-minute walk from the railway station to the Youth Hostel. A slightly more comfortable journey by electric bus or taxi is also possible. (Zermatt is car-free).

Best memory at Zermatt YouthHostel is the included breakfast: cheese, cold cuts, 4 varieties of hot chocolate, coffee, toast, cereal, yogurt... Can you dream of anything better before hiking or skiing? I can't. It was a really good stay: very clean, the staff was VERY HELPFUL with any request I could have, my adapter didn't work and I got one at the reception in exchange of a 10euro deposit (which I got back) and met great people.
