Having left airport terminal buildings, follow signs to N2 highway towards Cape Town. At the De Waal Interchange, keep on the right-hand side of the N2 and follow signs saying Waterfront up steep hill past Groote Schuur Hospital. Proceed along N2 (now named Eastern Boulevard) into city, following the Waterfront signs. You will see a view of the harbour as you come over the rise. Just before entering the city, take the Strand Street exit on your left hand side. Proceed past Castle of Good Hope on your left-hand side up Strand Street. Cross over Buitengracht Street and into upper Strand Street with palm trees in centre of road Fourth street on your right-hand side from Buitengracht is Vos/Loader Street. There is a sign saying De Waterkant. Sharp bend into Loader Street. Number 17 on Loader is on your left-hand side, under large plane trees.
