Directions to Argyle Backpackers, Edinburgh
Bus: To get to Argyle Backpackers from Waverley Station on Princes Street, catch the number 41 bus from the Waverley Bridge. Ask the bus driver to stop at Warrender Park Road (1.30 bus fare - you need the correct change as none is given). The hostel is on Argyle Place which is just off Warrender Park Road, opposite the Argyle pub. It's about a 10 minute bus trip.
Walking: Alternatively, you can walk up the Mound and follow the street it leads on to (George IV Bridge) and then take the right fork. At the 'T' intersection, cross the road and take the path straight ahead (for pedestrians & cyclists only) through the Meadows (a large park in the middle of Edinburgh) until you reach Melville Drive. Cross this road and follow the street Argyle Place which is straight ahead. Argyle Backpackers is at the top on the left, opposite the Argyle pub. It's about 20 minutes walk.
