Directions to Boulevard Sarandi Hostel, Montevideo
If you are coming from Tres Cruces (Montevideo bus terminal) go out through the main exit, then in the bus stop take any of the following lines: 180, 187, 188 or CA1. Then get down at Cerrito and Zabala streets, or Buenos Aires and Zabala if you had taken the CA1 line. Walking through Zabala street, heading the opposite direction of the port, are 3 blocks to arrive to Sarand street. In that corner we are located.
If you come from Carrasco International Airport, in the main exit there is a bus station where the bus companies CUT or Copsa stop. Take any of those bus that leads to the terminal (Tres Cruces). From there use the directions listed above. In case you want to take a taxi, the average fare to the hostel goes from 25 to 30 USD.
If you are coming to the port, the hostel is really close, so you may find the best to walk. After going out of the port you cross the street and find Perez Castellano street. You walk by that street 4 blocks, to arrive to Sarand street. Then, heading towards the center, you walk 3 more blocks by Sarandi, to arrive at Zabala street, there is where we are.
