Dark Hostel in Berlin, Germany

Public transportation:

- S- und U Frankfurter Allee (U5) -> You arrive directly at Ring Center, here Pettenkofer Strae goes up from Frankfurter Allee; take a little walk (aproximately 5 minutes) up the Pettenkofer Strae to the Dark Hostel (Pettenkofer Str. 16).

- Tram M16, M21 und M13; these tramways will take you to the Darkhostel.

From the direction of Hamburg, Rostock:

- Leave motorway A10, join motorway A111, follow it until the end (street Kurt-Schumacher-Damm). Turn left onto the Kurt-Schumacher-Damm, turn right at the underground station U-Bahnhof Kurt-Schumacher-Platz into the street Scharnweber Strae which soon turns into the street Mllerstrae, turn off and follow this street until the underground station U-Bahnhof Seestrae.
- Turn left into the street Seestrae and pursue it across the streets Osloer Strae, Bornholmer Strae, Wisbyer Strae, Ostseestrae, Michelangelostrae and Kniprodestrae
From the street Kniprodestrae (after crossing some rails at the next traffic light) turn left into the street Conrad Blenke Strae, follow this street above the crossroads Langsberger Allee, afterwards the streets is called Ebertystrae und then follow it until it turns into the street Eldenaer Strae.
- At the second traffic lights on the street Eldenaer Strae turn right into the street Pettenkoferstrae
On the left side you can see a prefabricated building (made with concrete slabs) with an appendant doorway which leads you to the Dark Hostel.

From the direction of Dresden, Frankfurt/Oder, Cottbus:

- The motorway A 113 within in the Berlin motorway circle is the extended motorway A 13 from the direction of Dresden. From the A 113 follow the signage until 'Berlin Mitte' across the streets Adlergestell, Schnellerstrae and Kpenicker Landstrae. After a crossing where you can see a do-it-yourself store on the right side you have to cross a canal, at the next traffic lights turn right into the street Neue Krugallee (specific mark is a widely curved house on the right side), then follow the left-hand bend.
- After a bit more than 2 kilometres you can see a used road at the left side (Attention: dont ignore the GIVE WAY sign!)
Drive straight on until the S-Bahn bridge and turn right behind it.
Behind the bridge across the river Spree turn left into the street Stralauer Allee. Turn right into the fourth street (called Modersohnstrae) and cross the bridge.
- Turn right at the second traffic lights (street Whlischstrae !Watch out the tram!) and turn left at the next traffic lights. Follow the course of the tram which turns right into the street Scharnweberstrae after passing two further traffic lights. Turn left into the street Jessener Strae at the next traffic lights, cross the street Frankfurter Allee and follow the street Pettenkoferstrae.
Drive straight on until you see a prefabricated building (made with concrete slabs) on the right sight of the road, the appendant gateway leads you directly to the Dark Hostel.

From the direction of Prenzlau, Szczeczin (Stettin):

- The motorway A 114 starts at the northeast part of the Berlin Ring and leads to Pankow-Heinersdorf. Go straight on, cross the streets Prenzlauer Promenade, Prenzlauer Allee until the street Ostseestrae, then turn left into this street. Pursue it across the streets Ostseestrae, Michelangelostrae und Kniprodestrae. From the street Kniprodestrae (after crossing some rails at the next traffic light) turn left into the street Conrad Blenke Strae, follow this street above the crossroads Langsberger Allee, afterwards the streets is called Ebertystrae und then follow it until it turns into the street Eldenaer Strae.
- At the second traffic lights on the street Eldenaer Strae turn right into the street Pettenkoferstrae.
On the left side you can see a prefabricated building (made with concrete slabs) with an appendant doorway which leads you to the Dark Hostel.

From the direction of Hanover, Nuremberg:

- Avus (A115) until motorway merging point Funkturm (ICC), follow signage: ICC, Messegelnde, Messedamm, Kaiserdamm. Drive on the street Messedamm until the street Kaiserdamm, then turn right.
Follow the course of the road across Ernst-Reuter-Platz and Groer Stern (with triumphal column) into the direction Brandenburger Tor (big gate).
- After a while turn right into the by-pass road, then turn left in the street Potsdamer Strae into the direction Potsdamer Platz. The street Potsdamer Strae turns into the street Leipziger Strae, drive straight on above the streets Friedrichstrae, Spittelmarkt, Rotes Rathaus (Red Townhall) until the place Alexanderplatz, and after passing the congress hall (east) turn right into the street Karl-Marx-Allee. Follow the Karl-Marx-Allee across the place Strauberger Platz (U-Bahn station Frankfurter Tor) until you see a big shopping centre ('Ringcenter') on the left side (ca. 150 metres before the S-Bahn bridge crosses the street), then turn left into the street Pettenkoferstrae.
- Drive straight on until you see a prefabricated building (made with concrete slabs) on the right sight of the road, the appendant gateway leads you directly to the Dark Hostel.
