From San Salvador or the airport, take a taxi directly to Playa El Sunzal (kilometer 44) for about $30 and look for the signs- it's about a 40 minute deal. Or, from San Salvador, take the 102 bus to La Libertad (70 cents; 40 minutes), and then from La Libertad the 80 bus to Playa El Sunzal (30 cents; 15 minutes).

Tell the driver to let you out at 'El Hostel Sunzal.' If you want to get to Sunzal from the airport, 1st take the bus to San Luis Talpa (30 cents), then jump on the next bus to La Libertad (80 cents). Again, from La Libertad, take the 80 to Sunzal and jump out when you see our signs on the road.
