Erasmus Hostel in Istanbul, Turkey

Please do not take taksi and don't ask cops because they are not helpful, just ask the local people they are very friendly

There are two options to get to erasmus hostel from the airport:

From ATATURK AIRPORT:
A- (cheapest way) get the metro (in istanbul they call it tram or metro) to 'Zeitinburnu', from there take a second tram to 'karakoy'
each ticket is 1.50 lira (so two tickets= 3 lira)
from Karakoy tram station it's 5 minutes by foot to the home.
Follow Necatibey Caddesi street (on your right getting out of the karakoy tram station). Take a right on Maliye Caddesi (the first intersection with traffic lights). Just half block on Maliye Caddesi take a left into Celebi Sokak (a small alley). Once you turn onto Celebi, you will go towards the sign for ERASMUS HOSTEL, turn left at the sign, our door is has a big blue window (#3).

B- you can also get the shuttle bus from the airport, it leaves every hour to taksim square, 10 lira,
from taksim square you can walk 15 minutes to the house (you can search in google maps 'ERASMUS ISTANBUL')

From SABIHA GOKCEN AIRPORT:
get the shuttle bus= it leaves every hour to taksim square, for 10 lira,
from taksim square you can walk 15 minutes to the house (look at the map in the website)

1 euro is around 2 lira
1 dollar is around 1.50 lira
