Train

1. Nyugati plyaudvar (Nyugati Railway Station)

Option 1:

If you reach Nyugati plyaudvar, hop on tram No 4 or 6 and go one stop. The hostel is opposite the tram stop. LOOK FOR NUMBER 22. WE ARE LOCATED BETWEEN 'MARATON' SPORTSWEAR STORE AND 'MILLENIUM' BOOKSHOP. You will find a small green sign right above the bells. Walk into the court yard through the entrance gate, walk 5 metres and then turn right. Walk up the stairs and then up the stairs again to the first floor and then turn right.

Travel fare: you need to buy one section ticket which costs 220 HUF (0.90 EUR).
Duration of journey to the hostel: 5 minutes.

Option 2:

Take a 5 minute walk in Terz krt on the left side of the road towards Oktogon. LOOK FOR NUMBER 22. WE ARE LOCATED BETWEEN 'MARATON' SPORTSWEAR STORE AND 'MILLENIUM' BOOKSHOP. You will find a small green sign right above the bells. Walk into the court yard through the entrance gate, walk 5 metres and then turn right. Walk up the stairs and then up the stairs again to the first floor and then turn right.

2. Keleti plyaudvar (Keleti Railway Station)

There are three options to approach us.

Option 1:

- Take metro 2 (M2, red line) and go to Deak tr. Change for M1 and go three stops and get off at Oktogon. WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED OKTOGON, LOOK FOR BURGER KING. WE ARE 50 METRES FROM BURGER KING DOWN THE MAIN ROAD (TEREZ KORUT), BETWEEN 'MARATON' SPORTSWEAR STORE AND 'MILLENIUM' BOOKSHOP. LOOK FOR NUMBER 22. You will find a small sign right above the bells. Walk into the court yard through the entrance gate, walk 5 metres and then turn right. Walk up the stairs and then up the stairs again to the first floor and then turn right.

Travel fare: you need to buy a transfer ticket for 420 HUF (1.7 EUR).
Duration of journey to the hostel: 15-20 minutes

Option 2:

- Take M2 to Blaha Lujza tr (one stop). When you walk out of the subway, look for direction 'Margit hd'. Take tram 4 or 6. Go three stops towards the direction of 'Margit hd'. The third stop is Oktogon. The hostel is opposite the tram stop. LOOK FOR NUMBER 22. WE ARE LOCATED BETWEEN 'MARATON' SPORTSWEAR STORE AND 'MILLENIUM' BOOKSHOP. You will find a small green sign right above the bells. Walk into the court yard through the entrance gate, walk 5 metres and then turn right. Walk up the stairs and then up the stairs again to the first floor and then turn right.

Option 3:

- Take a taxi. Call 00-36-1-2111-111 (City taxi). Do NOT hail a taxi. Transfer costs 7-9 euro.

3. Dli plyaudvar (Dli Railway Station)

Option 1:

- Take M2 to Deak square. Then change for M1 and go three stops towards the direction of Mexiki t. Get off at Oktogon. WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED OKTOGON, LOOK FOR BURGER KING. Airport:

Ferihegyi replőtr (Ferihegy Airport - Terminal 1 and 2):

Option 1: public transportation:

- Take the bus no 200 in front of the the airport gate and get off at the terminal (Kbnya-Kispest).
- Take M3 and go to Dek tr, where the three metro lines intersect.
- Change for M1 and travel three stops towards the direction of Mexiki t: now you are at Oktogon. WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED OKTOGON, LOOK FOR BURGER KING. WE ARE 50 METRES FROM BURGER KING DOWN THE MAIN ROAD (TEREZ KORUT), BETWEEN 'MARATON' SPORTSWEAR STORE AND 'MILLENIUM' BOOKSHOP. LOOK FOR NUMBER 22. You will find a small sign right above the bells. Walk into the court yard through the entrance gate, walk 5 metres and then turn right. Walk up the stairs and then up the stairs again to the first floor and then turn right.

Travel fare: you need to buy a single ticket (at the driver's) for 270 HUF (1 EUR) + a transfer ticket at Kőbnya-Kispest for 420 HUF (1.7 EUR).

Important notice: make sure that when you have come out of the airport, you buy your ticket either from a machine or on the bus before you board. If you buy your ticket when boarding the bus, try to have some change in advance because the driver may not be able to refund you.
Duration of journey to the hostel: 60-75 minutes

Option 2: Taxi

Taxi companies have fix rates: transfer from both Terminal 1 and 2 to the hostel is 21 euro. The hostel also offers its taxi service at 15 euro from Terminal 1 and at 17 euro from Terminal 2. If you want a taxi to be arranged for you, please let us know at least two days in advance.

Option 3: Airport Shuttle Bus

Once you have gone through the customs, look for Airport Minibus signs. Sign up for the traveller list. You need to pay at the customer desk.

Option 4: Airport Shuttle Train

Airport shuttle trains are now in operation from Ferihegy 1 (Terminal 1). Trains stop in front of the terminal building. The train terminates at Nyugati main station. Coach

Npligeti Nemzetkzi Buszlloms (Npliget International Coach Station)

Option 1:

International coaches arrive at the Npliget Buszlloms. Take M3 and travel towards the direction of jpest Vroskzpont. Get off at Dek tr. Change for M1 and go three stops towards the direction of Mexiki t and get off at Oktogon. WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED OKTOGON, LOOK FOR BURGER KING. WE ARE 50 METRES FROM BURGER KING DOWN THE MAIN ROAD (TEREZ KORUT), BETWEEN 'MARATON' SPORTSWEAR STORE AND 'MILLENIUM' BOOKSHOP. LOOK FOR NUMBER 22. You will find a small sign right above the bells.
