Managua Backpackers Inn in Nicaragua, Nicaragua

We are located just off of Carretera Masaya, 1 block south of the MetroCentro Shopping Center. From the old location of the discotheque Chaman, we are half a block south.

From the airport: take a taxi for approximately $7 US to be negotiated with the driver (around 80 - 100 Cordobas per person).

Managua does not have a central bus terminal, but the hostel is close to all major transportation points. UCA is a popular disembarkation point especially for travellers coming from Granada, which is only 5 10 minutes by taxi from the hostel ($1 US per person or 20 Cordobas) or 20 minutes walking. You can either ask the driver to let you off directly at the hostel or get off in front of the MetroCentro Shopping Center and Hotel Intercontinental and from there it is only a 5 minute walk to get here.

The TICA bus station is about 15 minutes by taxi from the hostel ($1 US per person or 20 Cordobas).

As a rule most locations within Managua cost $1 or 20 Cordobas per person in a taxi to get to unless they are very far.
