Directions to Porto Downtown Hostel, Porto
Directions:
We are only 5 minutes walk from the bus stations, train or subway.
So Bento railway station (one stop from Campanha station):
If you arrive in Porto by train leaving at the station S. Bento and once you're out just cross the street and turn right until you see Aliados Avenue. Once you're there cross the avenue, then go up towards the Tower Clrigos (Clrigos street) always on the right side of the street and when you pass the tower continue to walk on the right side, do not cross the street! Up the street, you have traffic lights and turn right on the corner. You will be at Praa Guilherme Gomes Fernandes.
Note: if you got out in Campanha Station, you can simply change trains to S. Bento or take the subway.
From the airport: the subway or bus
Metro: Exit the airport and take the purple line to the underground station Trindade (you'll need a ticket Z4). Once in Trindade you get out and go around the church ofl Trindade and Porto City Hall (the 2 large buildings on the opposite side of the station) and get down to Aliados Avenue. Turn right at the second traffic light after you pass the city hall (you have Guarany coffee in the corner) and you'll be in the street Ceuta. Go around the tunnel and walk up the street until the end, turn left on top and you'll be in Praa Guilherme Gomes Fernandes.
Bus: take bus 601 or 602 to Cordoaria garden, which is next to the old university and Lion's square (last stop - we are 3 minutes walk away). Once you're in Cordoaria, with the University on your left (the big gray building) go straight, pass interception and you're on the Praa Guilherme Gomes Fernandes.
From the bus station (Internorte, Rede Expresso, Renex)
As we have several stations you just have to ask for Tower of the Clerics or So Bento train station, then follow the signs from the station.
Once you're in our place, just look for n. 66 as it is in a corner and the name of the hostel is immediately visible in the glass. In case of doubt ask for our address or these checkpoints: Padaria Ribeiro, Praa dos Lees or Hospital Privado dos Clrigos.
By taxi, just give the taxi driver in these directions in Portuguese:
Praa Guilherme Gomes Fernandes n. 66 - (junto a Leitaria da Quinta do Pao, Casa da Moeda, Padaria Ribeiro or Praa dos Lees)
