Directions to Student Residences Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh
FROM CITY CENTRE
Take the train for Musselburgh at Waverley station (6 mins journey). Alternatively, take Lothian Buses no. 30 or 45 bus to Musselburgh, incl a stop at our campus. It takes approx 30 minutes.
BY CAR
Take the eastbound A720 city bypass to the Craighall roundabout, then head on to the northbound A1. Take next exit at Fort Kinnaird, then back onto the southbound A1. The QMU exit is half a mile away.
BY AIR
QMU is located 17 miles from Edinburgh Airport, just along the A720, the city bypass, as above. Alternatively, take the Airport bus (no. 100) to Princes Street, then either take the no. 30 or 45 bus (30 mins) or a train from Waverley station to Musselburgh station (1 stop, 6 mins' journey).
BY BUS
From Princes Street / George Street take no. 30 or 45 bus to Musselburgh. It stops on campus.
BY RAIL
Take the train to Edinburgh Waverley station then another for Musselburgh. The campus is 2 mins' walk from the station.
