IMPORTANT: Please NOTE that for security reasons the door opens automatically and there is NO need to push/pull it. It opens to allow the passage of just a person at a time.
From the mail railway station Keleti pu (Eastern Railway Station):
Take the red metro line (M2) in direction to 'Dli pu' and get off at the second stop ASTORIA. Take the exit 'Mzeum krt' -on the left- and walk along it on the side of the East-West Business Center -a modern glass building. Proceed on, then pass the National Museum and turn left at the further corner of the smaller glass building (where the Erste Bank is). That is lli Ut. Approximately 100 meters ahead of it there is a traffic light and a just a few meters after it you will find lli Ut 14.
From Nyugati pu railway station (Western Railway Station):
Take the blue Metro line (M3) in direction to 'Kbnya-Kispest' and get off at the 4th stop 'Klvin ter', then take the exit 'lli Ut'. Approximately 100 meters ahead of it there is a traffic light and a few meters after it you will find lli Ut 14.
From the International Bus Station 'Npliget':
Take the blue metro line (M3) in direction to 'jpest-Kzpont' and get off at 'Klvin tr'. Then take the exit 'lli Ut'. Approximately 100 meters ahead of it there is a traffic light and a few meters after it you will find lli Ut 14.
From the Ferihegy Airport:
By taxi: This is the best way if you are two or more, take any Zona Taxi's company. They charge 4.200 Forint (aprox. 17 euros) per a trip to the hostel, plus an expected 10% tip to the driver.
By public transportation: Buy 2 tickets (one for the bus and one for the metro) from the ticket's machine at the bus stop or inside the bus. Take the bus to the last stop (Kbnya-Kispest) -which is also the first stop of the blue metro line (M3). Then punch the 2nd ticket before you board the metro. Get off at 'Klvin tr' and take the exit 'lli Ut'. Aproximately 100 metres ahead of it there is a traffic light and a few meters after it you will find lli Ut 14.
NOTE: The metro service runs from 04.30 to 23.10 hours every day.
By Airport Minibus: You can take the Airport Minibus -which is cheaper than a taxi if you are alone. The fee is 3.000 Forint per passenger.
WARNING! In Budapest you need to punch a new ticket every time you change metro lines, buses or trams, so risk of getting a fine. On the lines M2 and M3 the ticket is valid half hour if you travel in the same direction. On the M1 line the ticket is valid 30 minutes. A ticket cost 280 Forint (approx. 1.20 euros).
