Directions to Three Black Catz, Belgrade
From the main bus or train station:
When you exit the station look for Balkanska (Балканска) Street while going uphill towards the center. Once you have found Balkanska (Балканска) Street, a big cobbled one with lots of little stores and shops, (you can ask anyone, everybody knows about it, and people are friendly and helpful) follow it to the top, to Terazije (Теразије) Square, where there is a big fountain and Hotel Moskva. Once in front of the fountain, staying on the same side of the street, take a left towards the Knez Mihajlova (Кнез Михаилова) Street, also a big street, and a main walking area of the city. When in Knez Mihajlova (Кнез Михаилова) Street, take a right turn after the first block of buildings, and you are on the Republic Square. On the Republic Square, you will see a big statue, a rider on a horse. When facing it, go to the little street on its left, by the National museum. You are in Cika Ljubina ( Чика Љубина) street, find the first passage to your left, number 7, big black metal door with inter phone buttons on the left. Press number 49, and we will open the door. After the buzz, enter the building and take the elevator to the 4th floor. From the elevator, go right, through the door to the terrace, and the second door, the brown one, on the corner is the hostel. Go in, say hi and make yourself at home!
Option 2:
You can take a taxi car, and the price of the ride will not be more than 300 dinars, (about 3.5 euro,) Cika Ljubina is the address, and the taxi driver will know about it.
Opt 3:
Call me and someone will pick you up if you can't find the place yourself.
From the airport:
Take the JAT bus (ticket is 250 dinars, about 2.8 euro), to the railway station, then follow the instructions above.
Or 'Beogradski taxi' for 900 dinars (9.5 euro).
ATTANTION:
Avoid taxi service being offered by drivers in the airport terminal; the drivers won't use their meters, and will charge many time the normal fare. Metered taxis can be rung in or picked up from the stand outside; just be sure to chose one with a roof sign indicating it's a city-regulated radio taxi, and insist that the trip be metered. Alternatively, you can go upstairs to the departure section and catch one of the taxis dropping off passengers. They will be happy for the return ride, and the fare should cost around 800 - 1000 RSD (~10-13) to the city.
