Close to attractive artistic place in Kaoshiung. Very helpful staff and friendly atmosphere. Free bicycle retal which is very helpful since you can visit many place by bicycle incluing Love river and Cijin island. jinsook, from South Korea ~ 1st Jan 2013

the staffs there are very nice, and location is very near to the XiZi Bay. Just a little bit difficult to find the house inside Lane 199. Nevertheless, if I got a chance to visit Kaohsiung again, I shall still stay in 99 House Songbai, from China ~ 3rd Dec 2012

This hostel is ideally situated in the "downtown" of Kaohsiung, near the harbor and all the points of interest. The Pier 2 art center is just behind. It's located in a little pedestrian street. The owner was definitly very kind. She explained us everything for the buses to kenting and to Foguangshan monastery so that we know exactly what to do, when to go and to come back.
