Loved the hostel and as my first time in a YHA was pleasantly surprised.all facilities are modern and well equipped, and clean.good location and like fort knocks at night.draw back being the two year old running around the kitchen and the family staying in the room next to us-thought children weren't allowed in these places but it didn't really have any effect on my stay just the odd all early wake up :) Tania, from England ~ 19th Mar 2013

Staff is ok, but not so keen to help. I don't know why they asked whether i have pay since i have been there 1 day. How can i get the key card without pay, i suggest receipt should be given to customer to protect both. Other facilities are excellent, i m sure and recommend this hostel to others and i will be back if i go back to Adelaide lai ngan, from Hong Kong ~ 20th Feb 2013

The Central Adelaide Hostel is a really clean and friendly place. The only poor comment I have is that unfortunately a lot of the people staying at the hostel must think their mother is there to clean up after them. It is a small thing to ask that people using the kitchen clean their pot,pans and plates etc after use. The hostel even makes free pancakes for breakfast about once a week as a thankyou for cleaning up your dishes. Doreen, from New Zealand ~ 17th Oct 2012
