facilities were not the nicest, partied at other hostels and realized there are much nicer places to stay in mendoza where you get better value for your money. the manager was abrupt and gave us a hard time about changing the number of nights we were staying, which is unacceptable when backpacking requires a flexible travel schedule. Great atmosphere here, the owner, Luke is very entertaining. We were on our way back home one night from a few drinks on the town and Luke invited us into the bar for some free wine and then we all ended up back out on the town til 7 in the morning. breakfast wasnt great however, but the kitchen had everything you needed and there was always room to cook. they also had a big tv and a computer room with 2 pcs. worth it for the atmosphere at monkey bar alone though Kathleen, from Ireland ~ 6th Apr 2012

Good location near town centre however not the place for a quiet nights sleep - especially when the pool table is outside your room and people start playing at 5.00am after coming in! The travel company connected to the Hostel also kindly recommended a wine tour for us which turned out to be entirely in spanish so didn't understand any of it - muchas gracias!
