Amsterdam Hostel in San Francisco, Amerika

Really great value, staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable! Location pretty good too, walked everywhere. And the pancakes were fantastic! I recommend going down to the kitchen earlier rather than later to avoid lines at the stove. And practice your pancake flipping technique. Christopher, from USA ~ 18th Apr 2013

The hostel in in a good location but I think for the price of a private room, it is a bit high. It was not even Motel 6 quality. The bathroom was tiled over a couple of times and had a rusty towel bar in it. It was a place to crash for a night. I think since there are so many hotels in that area and in San Fran, a little more time digging you can find a better deal and value for your money. seth, from USA ~ 17th Apr 2013

The windows lock was broken and anybody could get inside from the street. Not all the plugs worked. The public areas were dirty. The hostel is really old, and seems like nobody takes care of it. The only good thing is the location. Iker, from Spain ~ 24th Mar 2013
