Arrived very early in the morning and even though it was around 2AM the man working still checked us in and gave us a room that night. They were very accommodating and helpful. The floors in the room were a bit dirty, but that is my only complaint. Timothy, from USA ~ 24th Sep 2012

I had been told that the neighborhood was somewhat dangerous, but I always felt safe at this hostel. It is located in a fairly quiet street close to the Metaxourghio metro station. There are several good breakfast options. I especially appreciated having a bathroom in the dorm. The only drawback is that when I went there, it was hot and we had to turn on the air conditioning at night, which was quite noisy. Anyway, this hostel has good value for money and I recommend it. Hostel was in a very dodgey area in Athens. Lots of drugs, sleazy men and rubbish. Saw a guy chase someone down the street with a baseball bat as well as people shooting up. Quite a long and dangerous walk to the main sights especially at night and the policemen are more seedy than protective. Hostel was clean enough, kitchen needs restocking and wifi is a bit tempremental but it had air con and for 8 euros it wasnt too bad. Asher, from Australia ~ 24th Jul 2012

Staff was very nice. Was told it was in an unsafe location, but it's only a couple blocks from a metro stop so I felt safe. It is SUPER cheap and my room was very nice, so I think it's definitely worth it! April, from USA ~ 4th Jul 2012
