Beijing Wada International Hostel in Beijing, China

Almost the worst hostel I have ever experienced. Not helpful staff, very dirty and wet toilets. The dorms cannot be locked!!! I felt very unsafe!!! Also it's quite cold inside and outside dorms. Zhe, from China ~ 3rd Dec 2012

Beijing's Hutong areas can be very different and unfortunately this hostel is located in an area that seems to fall into total decay, lots of places around are abandoned, you find big piles of debris on the streets etc. As to the place itself, the common area is quite nice and I saw that there seem to be about three rooms that look fine. Every other room I have seen, however, was in a bad condition. The room I stayed in was shabby, really wet (despite open windows) and mouldy on the walls. Sara Kathrin, from Germany ~ 29th Jul 2012
