Stayed here with my wife. Having never stayed in a "hostel" i was wary, but this was one of the best places we stayed on our trip in Europe. Bathroom looked recently renovated. Bed was kind of weak though. We stayed in one of the apartments near the Coliseum. Perfect location, walking distance to all the historic sites and the metro. Plus it had a washing machine. Ercole was a great host. Gave us a map as soon as we got there and gave us recommendations on what to see and where to eat.

The bathroom smelt, like smelly drain pipes and there was no soap provided, tricky as no supermarket to be located nearby. Besides that, a nice appartment and good value.

Being met at the station and given a map and some tips was a excellent service. The frij and the kettle are a convenience, but it was 3 floors up with no lift and no air con. Typically cramped Italian shower.

The hostel is good located, the person who took us from the train station was very nice, but it is in a 4th floor without lift and they don't have personal there, no lobby, no reception, which was not convenient.

Ercole could not have been more helpful tous while we were staying in blue hostel. Would recommend this hostel to anyone on a budget and for those who want to be close to the centre.

We were lucky and got the appartment with colosseum view. Very nice flat in the BEST location! The host Andrea gives very helpful advices for your sightseeing in Roma. He also hands out some "insider" bar and restaurant tips.
