Overall good value for the money and the staff is reliable, location is an older building, showers have hot water and plenty of it.Upgraded room without request, clean surroundings and staff is friendly and helpful with directions and assuring that I had everything I needed. Wi-fi throughout building.While I was there a guest lost 2 boxes of Girl Scout cookies.The staff took immediate action and offered the guest compensation above and beyond the value of the item.Impressed. I was only there one night! I wish i could have stayed longer! The staff (one person) who greeted me and waited up as my plane was late getting in from Haiti were so kind!I shared a very clean and homey room with one woman who was very thoughtful in just letting me eat, sleep, and get to my next flight!I loved that it was within walking distance to some very tasty restaurants and a handy grocery store!I wish I could have had time to take a swim in the pool.... The 5-bed dorm room I signed up for ended up being more like a cozy, 2-ba apartment for 4 people, complete w/ a full kitchen/living room,surpassing my expectations and making it even more worth the low price of $25/night! Although the staff were busy, there were definitely needed repairs to the unit, and the kitchen could use more amenities, they were excellent in housekeeping, tried to be responsive, and the Wi-Fi ended up being great,better than the desktop computers they offered. WOw. Just Wow. Greeted by one of the nicest gentlemen whom promptly checked me in. He took the time to tour the facilities with me - showing me: a beautifully maintained pool, internet room, breakfast area, and my room. The room was amazing for a hostel: cleaned like a hotel room, it was fully stocked kitchen(utensils, refrigerator, stove, microwave, etc.) of its own, 3 single BEDS (not bunks), a classy tile bathroom, and television.
