A former hotel - now a backpackers! Super nice lobby with marble floors. Great place to stay. Close to all public transport. Like all of downtown LA, go too far one way and its a bit iffy. Charming old hotel in downtown L.A.. Public transport to Hollywood (red line) and Venice Beach (733 bus) available. Overnight parking right next to it for 20$. Clean and cheap. We liked it. Markus, from Germany ~ 29th May 2012
