Well, this hostel was pretty average except for the atmosphere. The atmosphere was terrible! It really brought down the whole experience. The hostel, atleast when I was there in mid to late may, was full of Russians only. Some knew some English, some didn't know much, but most of them seemed like they actually lived at the hostel or were living there and trying to find an apartment, either way, they were not friendly at all, and just took up the entire common rooms playing video games and tv. This hostel is in a great location and very clean. It has a nice, relaxed atmosphere during the day - a great place to sit on the sofa, warm up, catch up on email. With only one toilet in the bathroom (plus two shower stalls and two sinks) it was a little cramped, but worked. Don't expect the staff to enforce the 11pm quiet hours - they'll probably be in the kitchen chatting with the revelers until 3am themselves. Overall, good, friendly atmosphere. i loved my time there. i'd had so much trouble getting in to moscow, and when i arrived i just needed to chill, which is EXACTLY what this place is for. These guys sign everything as the "Chillax Team" and they take that idea seriously - most of the times, in addition to the girl at the reception, there are a few more girls not on their shift, also helping guests out, and just being friendly.The owners, are young guys in their late 20s, and are also there a lot, trying to make sure everyone is having a good time.Great place to have an amazing time in Moscow with really cool people!
