Stayed in 4bed dorm. Everytime I went to the shared bathrooms they were squeking clean, thumbs up to the sweet cleaningladies hanging around the place 24/7 making sure the place is fresh. The staff team is an interesting mix of polite people with a dash of lemon. Location is good, close to a metro, this is the best choice for people who's already wandered along peoples square/the bund too many time and feel no need to stay in the city center. The rooms were clean, andlocation is great-near the metro station.The regular staff was not very friendly or helpful, but the trainees were accommodating.Loud party till 3 - 4 am.Breakfast was provided, but it was limited to mostly starches - no fruit, tea, coffee.The cost was reasonable considering the value. This hostel is highly recommended. I have stayed for a long time in this hostel for the following reasons. The location was excellent. five minutes' walk from metro station, facility was really great, 24 hour front desk staffs were helpful. The rooms had a lot of space with comfortable beds. We stayed in a private 3bed room and it was relatively suitable for the 3 of us. The toilet has a window that is slightly translucent, so if you are not a fan of kinky stuff, remember to bring some tape and newspaper to tape the window up. I like the lobby area, it is big and spacious. Wifi is good too. The staff is very friendly and helpful, though some are still trainee staff and will not be able to assist you much. Excellent experience, we enjoyed our stay. Staff was very accommodating to our large group. We appreciated buying by the room rather than the bed so we could all stay together, we also appreciated that the doors automatically lock when shut. I'm one of those nut cases that always demands perfection even on a shoestring budget. I booked a double bed room for two. The place was flawless.
