Very friendly staff (especially Julia), great location and the art work in my room was excellent. Will recommend to friends. James, from Australia ~ 24th May 2013

First, I am female 60+ years old, with mobility issues.City Hostel, I felt safe, and secure. The staff was polite, and helpful. City Hostel was extremely clean. My black light did not pick up any bed bugs, on the beds in the room, linens or my luggage. Bathrooms were very clean. My only complaint would have been, to be able to use the handicapp shower and other related facilities. The staff reflects the warmth of the great city of Seattle. I stayed in the city hostel twice. First when I went Seattle in March and second in May. It's quite close from the downtown and the pike place market. There are some late-open places to eat and to buy groceries near the hostel. I really liked the staffs too. The breakfast was great as well. I would definitely stay again in this hostel for my next trip to Seattle. Jihyun, from South Korea ~ 13th May 2013

It's my second time staying in a hostel, and the experience was superior. The staffs are super friendly. I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm and there is a bathroom in room, which is super nice. The room had paintings on the wall. Me and my roommates all enjoyed it. Jingwei, from China ~ 12th May 2013

This 50yr mom and 19yr daughter were trying hostels for the first time.We tried two different places in SEA on this weekend. This hostel took second place.Short walk to Pike Market and waterfront. There are no curtains or privacy within the shared bedrooms.Plugs-ins hard to locate and no individual lighting or fans. The bunkbeds are lightweight and move when you move. Lockers small and in room of six there were only four available.Had to leave by 7 and breakfast started at 8am...:( Joan, from USA ~ 4th May 2013

You guys rule, for sure. The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't know I needed a passport to check in. I left mine in the car in the parkade, a 20 minute walk away.Blah. Daniel, from Canada ~ 30th Apr 2013

I felt like being constantly watched by the staff if i am doing something wrong :). Def not a hostel if u like to party with a possibility of bringing someone in who is not a guest of the hostel. Good shower! Nice tv/movie room Patrick, from Germany ~ 25th Apr 2013

The hostel was great, but if you're traveling alone you better look for a smaller one where it's easier to get to know people. Here, everbody pretty much just keeps to themselves which is kind of sad. No hostel activities! Also the kitchens on the floors are not well equiped with enough plates, cups, etc. Fiona, from Switzerland ~ 25th Apr 2013

Years ago stayed in hostels all over Europe. This one as good as the best in Europe. Wished the computers had worked,,,but minor. Wished parents would not let kids run up and down hallways in the late hours. blane, from USA ~ 25th Apr 2013

Great hostel! Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms with provided sheets. Breakfast a bit limited, but that's in many hostels. Other facilities good. Nice 'library' room, and a hottub :) Private bathroom in room of 4 also very nice. Location great, in safe area walking distance from downtown Seattle. Oh, and let's not forget their own cinema room. I would definitely recommend this hostel to other travellers! Haiko, from Netherlands ~ 21st Apr 2013
