Clink Hostel in London, England

I think that the wireless internet downstairs could be improved. I found that I could only get a good enough signal to stay connected in the internet room. Also, just a security comment. I was able to come back after I checked out to get my bag downstairs without showing ID. Even though it was my luggage I was getting, I think it would be prudent to check IDs when giving out the Luggage Key. Other than that everything was Great. Cool building. Lockers not big enough for packs, but valuables and small bag fit fine. Big hostel, so a bit harder to meet people, but staff are fun and very helpful. You are probably going to Tube it to most places from Kings Cross. Thomas, from USA ~ 28th Oct 2009

Due to lack of security (staff handing out keys to luggage room to anyone without knowing if they lived at the hostel or not) me and my boyfriend were robbed. Someone broke into our bags and basically stole everything). We were told that only staff would have access to that room. Too easy to just go in there, pick a bag and walk out of the door unnoticed. Pretty clean. Lockers in room. Nightly activities. Beer pong etc. 7 min walk from kings cross station. Nice hang out area with bar. Cheap food. Kinda loud until late if you are sleeping near hang out area in basement,so if you need to sleep bring earplugs. Only a couple good pubs close by. Lucas, from Canada ~ 10th Sep 2009
