Easy Palace City Hostel in Edinburgh, Duitsland

Kantstrabe runs parallel to the Charlottenburg station (one block away). The bus is sort of confusing it's better to walk the 10-15 minutes up Kanstrabe to find it. The hotel is not directly on the lake. The worst part is that the bathroom was so small that I had to keep the door open when using it. The room is cleaned only on your arrival, after that they only take the garbage and put extra toilet paper, nothing else. There are no towels, soap or telephone in the bedroom. The heater only works by a central city system, so if you happened to be in a sudden cold day, no can do. I needed to go to a hospital and the absence of phone was terrible, the PAID internet connection of the hostel was failing so we had no ways of communicating with our family or the health insurance. Great location, comfortable beds, nice to have a full bathroom in the rooms. Some of the staff was very helpful, other staff not so much. Cleanliness could be improved as there was gum on the rail of one of the beds we used and a half full soda bottle on the mattress. Alice, from USA ~ 2nd Oct 2011
