It's a crime that I've waited this long to sit and review this hostel. I don't often write reviews at all, but El Jardin deserves a big thumbs-up. I stayed for a week around Semana Santa in 2012, then went out into the campo for a week, then returned and stayed a couple more nights. In three trips to South America, totaling something like six months on the road, this is easily the nicest hostel at which I've stayed. Not luxurious by any stretch, but homey and comfortable, a great value with Brian, from USA ~ 9th Apr 2012

Great hostal, beautiful garden, top breakfast, amazing vibe and most of all wonderful owners!! We were only meant to stay in the city two daysbut due to the fantastic atmosphere and meeting some great people we stayed almost two weeks! This has been by far my favourite hostal in South America so far. The owners were fantastic and helped us with anything we needed, they also made it feel like a home.
