I loved this hostel. Location could not be better, located around the corner from times square, walking distance from all the shops, dining and broadway theaters. Subway is a block away too. The room had a very nice renovated bathroom, tv and double bed which unfortunately was not very comfortable. Felt more like a hotel than a hostel since hallways were quiet and no one ever hanged out on the social rooms, no events or partys either. Employees were not very friendly. I would stay again YES! The location is the big plus of the hostel, the rest is all average. The dorms are mixed, only one bathroom per 12 which is not cleaned often enough. The shower was very bad, not enough pressure to wash my hair. I complained at the front desk, asking if I could use another shower that works adequately. They said all the showers are the same everywhere, without showing any intention to solve the problem. For the same price I had certainly much better experiences in other cities Maria Carolina, from Germany ~ 9th Nov 2012

They are only after the $. They try to jam 5 people into a room in real life meant only for 2. Philip, from Canada ~ 4th Nov 2012

Hostel was very good.Only negative was the noise from teenagers on a school trip during the night. HELEN, from Northern Ireland ~ 20th Oct 2012

It took over 30 minutes to check in bc the woman at the desk was apparently concerned with talking about what people had been doing, her weekend plans, etc. than doing her job. The rooms were pretty filthy. Katie, from USA ~ 17th Oct 2012

The hotel is absolutely in the center of New York and therefore perfect for exploring the city. The rooms are very small but clean and beds are comfortable. A plus: security safe for valuables in the room. The breakfast is fine, from coffee/tea, cereal, bagles, to some fruits and orange juice. Staff is ok, not overwhelming friendly but if you ask you will get an answer. Wireless works in the rooms and in the bar area additionally there is a computer room. This hostel was very well situated right next to town square, but if you walked in the opposite direction, the area is a bit sketch. The lobby was nice and the person that helped checked me in was very courteous and helpful. I stayed in a co-ed dorm room and it was nice and clean. Though most of the people there didn't return till late, I had no problems sleeping and the AC kept me warm and cozy. Qiongni, from China ~ 13th Oct 2012

Best location in NYC at Times Square. But the rooms are super small (stayed in 4-bed ensuite) and have no lockers so I can't store my luggage, but have a security safe (in room) to store valuable things like my notebook. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Good free continental breakfast. Ricardo, from Brazil ~ 11th Oct 2012
